The Colombian Intimate Party invites you to immerse yourself in the vibrant sounds of Colombia and Latin America, where every melody and rhythm tells a story of culture, passion, and connection.
This year, we are proud to feature Danny Carmona, a Colombian-born singer-songwriter now based in Victoria, Canada. Danny began her artistic journey in New York City, training in acting, modeling, and dance before moving to Canada’s Pacific coast, where she recorded her first albums and earned a degree in journalism. Beyond her work as a presenter and actress in films and commercials, she has become a beloved voice in the Latin music scene, captivating audiences with her heartfelt performances that blend emotion and authenticity.
Joining her on stage is the exceptional Frankie Hidalgo, a renowned Latin-fusion musician, composer, and bandleader celebrated for his powerful arrangements and dynamic performances. With his signature mix of salsa, R&B, and soul influences, Frankie brings an energetic and soulful dimension to the night, creating a musical dialogue that bridges Colombia’s rich traditions with contemporary Latin rhythms.
Together, Danny Carmona and Frankie Hidalgo will deliver an intimate concert filled with warmth, rhythm, and cultural pride — a night where music becomes a bridge to connection, and every beat celebrates the joyful essence of Latin America.
Special Note: During this event, we will also be celebrating the birthday of Latincouver’s Executive Director, Paola Murillo. Join us in honoring her inspiring leadership and passion as we gather for a night of music, culture, and community at the Latin Plaza Hub.
