genius

This roundtable centers Indigenous traditions as living practices that support mental, emotional, spiritual, and community well-being. Indigenous knowledge keepers and cultural practitioners will share how ancestral teachings, storytelling, ceremony, land-based practices, and community connections contribute to healing, balance, and resilience.

Bringing together Canadian Indigenous and Latin American Indigenous perspectives, this conversation highlights shared values such as connection to land, collective care, respect for elders, and the importance of intergenerational knowledge. Participants will explore how Indigenous communities across the Americas preserve and adapt their traditions to support mental health, cultural identity, and holistic wellness in contemporary contexts.

This gathering honors culture as medicine and recognizes Indigenous wisdom as essential to healing, resilience, and the ongoing well-being of individuals and communities.
