This month, the Ontario Province Ministry of Health and Agriculture has started an COVID-19 vaccination program for agricultural workers that are entering the province. The program is coordinated together with the Ministry of Foreign Relations of Mexico (SRE).
The program will operate in the coming months as part of Phase II of the Ontario Immunization Plan and will include people working in critical industries and arriving at Toronto Pearson International Airport.
In conjunction with the Canadian health authorities, the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE) continues the process of installing various vaccination sites against COVID-19 for the Mexican community.
This is encouraging public health news as newcomers feel supported by the country that welcomes them.
