The ceremony offers an excellent opportunity to network

The sixth Inspirational Latin Awards Ceremony is a special gala and networking event that recognizes individuals for their outstanding achievements in the Latin community in British Columbia. The event focuses on those who have shown tremendous support for a company or organization contributing to Latin America and BC’s economic and cultural development.
This year, the event takes place on April 15th at the Vancouver Play House in Vancouver. Additionally, all the attendees will be able to network and connect to the Latin community in BC and the partners supporting the event with their representatives.
How Inspirational Latin Awards started
In 2010, Paola Murillo, Executive Director & Founder of Latincouver Cultural & Business Society, was invited to an event in Ottawa. With about the ten most influential Latinos in Canada, the opportunity made her realize that when people recognize others, more people are inspired. “We understand we are on the right path; the award validates that. It’s not that you need it, but it’s amazing when people see you and recognize your work; it’s a real motivation. On the other side, new people watching the awards get inspired. This is a way for Latin Americans to show what we are doing in Canada and strengthen our community. That’s how we started to think that this Inspirational Latin Award is so important”, she said.
Great surprises and emotions always surround this award. It allows the guests to meet incredible people and their beautiful stories on stage and backstage. In addition, it helps us to create outstanding bonds.
Paola also highlighted how Latincouver has been working with the Latin community. She mentioned that “as a Non-Profit organization, we want to empower and connect people and to recognize remarkable Latin people’s achievements. This edition is exceptional, too, because it represents our overcome post-Covid-19”.
