Lussilia:
A Fusion of Latin Rhythms and Global Sounds
Lussilia is a Venezuelan-Canadian singer-songwriter, producer, and project manager blending Latin, tropical, and world music. Her career began with “Fiesta de Labios,” co-written with Jorge Luis Chacín, and she has since collaborated with top producers and artists.
As an entrepreneur, she mentors musicians and produces concerts, strengthening the music community. With an EP set for release in spring 2025, she continues to honor her cultural heritage through music.M
Sashiel Tello:
Elevating Every Moment with Music
Sashiel Tello is a professional saxophonist known for creating unforgettable atmospheres with smooth jazz, soulful classics, and energetic pop hits. Born into a musical family, she began her journey at four, mastering piano, saxophone, and flute.
She trained at Mexico’s INBA and earned a flute diploma from the Florence Academy of Art, refining her unique sound that brings warmth and sophistication to every event.
Yesenia Florez:
Bridging Tradition and Innovation
Yesenia Florez brings a fresh take on Latin American folklore, blending Andean sounds with lively Latin percussion. She has performed on prestigious stages, including the National Museum of Bogotá and various festivals in Canada and Colombia.
Through her music, she connects audiences to her cultural roots, intertwining tradition with modern influences. With four singles already released, her debut EP in 2025 will showcase her identity as a Latin American singer-songwriter.

Can I participate in the auction if I can’t attend the gala?
Yes, the silent auction is open to all registered participants online until February 13, 2025. Winners will be notified by email.
Can I buy tickets at the door?
Tickets must be purchased in advance as seating is limited. We recommend buying your tickets as soon as possible to secure your spot.
How does the silent auction work?
The silent auction begins online on January 22, 2025, and runs until February 13, 2025, when bidding closes during the event. Preview the items starting January 20, 2025, and bid online to support our programs.
How will proceeds from the gala be used?
Your generosity helps us continue offering essential programs, services, and events that empower the Latin American community in BC. From settlement support for newcomers and business mentorship programs to cultural celebrations like Carnaval del Sol, your contribution strengthens the community, fosters economic growth, and preserves our vibrant heritage.
