Latincouver will be electing new members to the Board of Directors. We extend an invitation to all individuals willing to be active in governance roles to be part of our Board. The leadership and stewardship of key community members have never been more important than it is today. Your experience and interest in supporting the Latin American community would be an asset to our organization, and we hope you will consider becoming a nominee.
Latincouver is a nonprofit organization that has a positive impact on the Latin-American communities we serve. It was founded in 2008 and is recognized as an influential provider of much-needed bridges between British Columbia’s rapidly growing Latin American communities and other multicultural groups in our city.
The Board of Directors plays a central role in this important effort. Your experience, involvement and commitment to serve the community will have an impact on growing and empowering it.Â
A primary responsibility of a Director is to participate in the development of the strategy, policy development/implementation, decision-making at board meetings, as well as Fundraising and to support our vast and complementary programs. Meetings are held once a month or as needed from time to time.
Latincouver sees diversity within our organization as an asset that fosters better ideas, better programs, and higher levels of impact and success. We view diversity as a wide-ranging set of intersectionalities.
A member of the Latincouver nomination committee will contact you to schedule an interview after you fill out the form below.
